Avid MC deinterlacer lut file

Hello everyone,

if you install Avid Mediacomposer there is a file called lutfile_4.txt in the ...SupportingFiles/Deinterlace folder. I try to understand what exactly it contains to maybe use it in an avisynth script to test it. It looks like a FIR Filter, but what does the whole LUT part mean?
