hdtv2mpeg desync

it seems all of .ts files i cut with hdtv2mpeg are out of sync, lets say I use DVD2AVIT3 and save the project and decode the ac3, i'll end up with a file like "blah AC3 T01 2_0ch 384Kbps DELAY -415ms.ac3". And 415ms is exactly what its off sync by, its offsync when I playback the .ts also.. Is this just a problem with hdtv2mpeg? Is there anything better I can use to cut .ts files? Thanks

question

Before you cut the .ts file, before you do anything, does your .ts file play out of sync? Does it play out of sync the same way at the beginning and at the end? Or is the sync progressively getting worse as you play the file?
