XVID Standalone compatibility impact?

Hey all,

Been using AutoGK for a long time, and its been great. I did try to search for these answers but haven't had much luck...

I've basically always used the same settings, and now I am using different playback devices so I thought I'd ask some questions.

I used to use a TVIX so I always used Sigma chipset compatiblity but now I am playing back with an MCE box with FFDShow.

Will disabling this compatibility result in better PQ? Any idea how significant?

Also I have always kept Original audio as it seemed to result in better lip sync. Its possible my TVIX was fussy with audio. Any idea what the rough savings might be in compressing to 128ABR MP3?

Thanks all, and cheers to len0x for the best encoding tool ever. Funny how a product not in active developmenet still sees more updates than some others

I am also starting to use h264 now, using XVID4PSP, but if AutoGK were ever to support it, I'd use it immediately.
