Hi Dean,

That was lightning fast!!!!Thank you for working hard on this...This definitely deserve a donation...wait till 25th (pay day) and I'll be sure to donate.

Unfortunately It's still not working, The log again did not indicate any error and there was no subtitles included in the mts file. While MultiAVCHD is running, I noticed that it did extract the ASS sub and delete it later however it was not included in the final mts file.

Another issue I noticed is that with another mkv anime with 2 ASS subtitles, it has taken the second subtitle file instead of the first one. In my example, first is English and the second is French, so my AVCHD ended up with French subs instead.

I have 5 episode in the series and 3 out of the five ended up with French subs. I checked in each mkv and all of them have 4 tracks, first is video, followed by audio. Then the two subs where all have the English subs listed as 3rd track and French listed as 4th track.

I'm not sure why AVCHD picked the french sub on 3 out of the 5 files.

Maybe you could relook at the codes on teh above 2 issues. Thanks again Dean!

Hi Dean,

After starting MultiAVCHD v2.5-529 it autoupdates to a new version.
When the autoupdate is done I get this error message when I like to start:

@Bajunid: Ok.. sorry about it.. I left out a '/' and it broke it.. It works now in build 534. For safe reasons: run multiUPDATE.exe

I don't know about track order. If you can use your player "SUBTITLE" button - can you switch to other subtitles or it is only the French present?

@PixelPipe: I can't see the attached file. What does it say?

1) There should be a "Line: xxx" message.
2) Try to delete your .ini file

Can you run build 534 against these files (use [x] Verbose logging) and post your log, please?

I never took time to refine ssa processing because I don't have such files (mkv + ssa) and there was no way to debug...

Hello Dean,

I have encountered another small difficulty with multiAVCHD although I suspect the problem as such is caused by tsmuxer. Playback of interlaced SD-video at 25/50i fps on my Sony BDP S-350 stutters after the initial 2-3 seconds. After some reading I have discovered that tsRemux seems to cause the same problems, therefor I suspect that tsmuxer changes the frequenz from 50Hz PAL zu 60 Hz resulting in the stuttering playback (pulldown?).

There is a way around this problem which involves multiplexing the files with MacOS Toast Titanium, but if it is indeed a problem of tsmuxer maybe there is a possibility to override its preset with the original media properties? But if not - it only occurs with interlaced Videos... and so far it is more or less a problem of Sony BDP's.

It is weird to have SD content stutter. Can you post your mediainfo log of such input file?

Does it stutter if you process it in tsMuxeR only?

Does BDedit show 576i if you open output bdmv files?

And not last but most important - is your player / TV PAL?

If not - you can't get rid of the stuttering. And most likely in this case it will be 'jumps', not stuttering.

***

edit: use multiUPDATE.exe to minor-update your multiAVCHD and try again, will you?

1. Yes, I had tested multiple ways to make those videos working, including tsmuxer only.

2. BDedit shows 576i for all video files - working / not working (and 1080i for the menu items).

3. the TV is PAL and the "toasted" Version works after all. But its menus are just horrible.

I have just run out of DVD+R :-( so I cannot test changes until next week.

Is it possible that m2ts files played from the BR menu will stutter, if played directly (from the streams menu) they do not stutter? That's exactly the problem I'm having on my PS3. Using the latest version (534) and still doing it.
Scenarios:

1) Insert flash drive with AVCHD folder into PS3 -> Select main playlist -> video stutters, audio clips
2) Browse same flash drive from PS3, play the main m2ts file directly, video and audio are fine.

Been dealing with this for a while now.

i am having some anime, mostly recent ones, freezing up when i play it on my blu ray player. well, the video freezes up the audio is fine. it will freeze on the first frame, if i hit skip, it will take a bit then skip to the next chapter where it'll again freeze on the first frame of that chapter. this is a HD 1280x720 video, and I made sure to force it to 4.1. But I have had other HD anime episodes work fine. I can't figure out what the difference is between the two kinds, they are both h264.

edit: ah, the newer ones have higher reference counts

hi deank.
Your soft is working perfect for me ! But there is a very missing function. The most simple of the world to implement : The Auto-renaming of AVCHD folder.

If we want to add a new movie to an existing AVCHD folder.
We have to manually rename AVCHD to AVCHD_SOMETHING (for example) in the windows explorer. If not the program display an error message.

Is it possible to add a function to avoid this frustrating handling ??

There are two bars on the lower left of MultiAVCHD. The light blue seams to work but the grey one above shows 185% after the first movie of a compilation is processed. Its value slightly increases while processing following streams. I don't know what this grey bar shall indicate.

If I understand your problem correct, I suggest you make use of the "custom name" function in the right lower corner, that way your target AVCHD folder will look like this "c:\AVCHD_'custom name'" and your input AVCHD folder (i.e. "c:\AVCHD") remains untouched.

I think that should do the trick for you...

Progress % is fixed and if you input AVCHD folder, it will be renamed before importing.

ALWAYS import avchd folders after CLEAN start of multiAVCHD, i.e. - don't do it after a compilation is finished.

If you make a compilation - CLOSE multiAVCHD and then if you need to do anything - start it again. Of course it won't work if you have the input AVCHD folder opened in other applications.

Ok but in that way i ve to rename the AVCHD_CUSTOM into AVCHD after compilation. So the problem is the same, isn't it?

edit after just updating to build 535, i ve an error when i trying to do what you're say and the soft hangs !

Okay.. while having this error - can you go and rename this F:\AVCHD yourself? If it errors out it means the folder is LOCKED for some reason. There is nothing I can do.
