Simple Resize

I may be crazy but:

Windows XP
Athlons 1.0 and 1.2Ghz

Plenty of harddrive
Plenty of memory

I see only maybe 10% improvement over BilinearResize. Is this correct?

Could be, depending upon whether you are using other filters.

I can't seem to run VTune right with Avisynth but in straight DVD2AVI the resize takes maybe only 25% of the total job. So we coudn't reduce the job time by more than 25% even if we made it instantaneous.

But I think I've seen a couple results slightly better. And I still have used SSE2 for only about half the code and SSEMMX not at all. These should give marginal improvements soon, for some machines.

But thanks for testing.
