Traxdata 1 Speed DVD-R at 2speed.
Folks,
The story so far: Windows XP Pioneer A04 DVD Writer(Various Firmware) DVD Decrypter Nero Instant CD/DVD I have been trying to burn Traxdata G03 Ritek Disks at 2 speed. Tried V1.31 and V1.40 but with no joy, can anyone help? Managed to get back to V1.31 however when trying to burn DVD-R with DVD-Decrypter on Traxdata Ritek G03 at 1 speed or 2 Speed i get some kind of Addressing error and it wont write the disk. Thought i would try Instant CD/DVD and i get the following error at 1 Speed and 2 Speed: Versions: Operating System: Windows 2000 5.01 (Build 2600: ) InstantCopy: 6.5.2.038 (14/08/2002 17:05:32) InstantDisc: 6.5.2.076 (14/08/2002 17:06:52) CD-R Drivers: 6.4.3.064 (12/08/2002 15:53:32) ISO/UDF Creator: 1.0.2.026 (31/05/2002 17:02:02) ASAPI Interface: 5.0.0.002 (27/04/2000 13:31:1 ASAPI Driver: 5.0.0.001 (08/01/2000 10:22:36) Write speed: 1.0x DVD(1,385 kB/s) Write method: Disc at Once Closing method: Close disc Simulation: No Simulation [ ] Write to hard disk first [ ] Verify destination media after write Destination Device: Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-104 (G 1.40 MMC-Driver Disc Contents: Nr Length Pre Post Sectormode 1 1,992,610 150 150 Mode 1 ISO Project contents: Datatrack File systems: ISO9660 Level 1; Joliet; UDF 1.02 Reading destination disc information ... What the Feck is going on? Bad Firmware? Bad Media? Bad Software? Should i just leave the firmware at V1.32 and continue burning at 1 speed only. When i had the original V1.2 firmware other brands of 2 spd disks burned successfully at 2 speed. Thanks for reading. Gary |
