Did you really try ?
Anyway, here is the way. 1-Launch dvdshrink 2-Open the first movie ("file" if already ripped, "disc" if not) 3-Click on "re-author", a new window will appear 4-Drag your movie from the first window to the second one you just opened 5-In the first w., open your second movie, and drag it in the second w. 6-In the second w., click on "backup!" 7-Wait and thank

Guide can be found at www.dvdshrink.info (compliments of ddlooping).
You can use Shrink to put titles from two (or more) different DVDs onto one DVDR. You won't have any menus though - re-author creates successive titles with no menus. They'll just play one after the other, or you can use the Titles button on your remote to jump around. |

Well, yes, it's possible to make menus ; as I can remember, it's better do make them BEFORE the Shrink step. But I'm not able to explain how. In first place, I wanted to do so, and spent many hours trying to make menus. I tried spruce up, scenarist, maestro, tmpegenc-dvd author (I'm not sure of this name), and none seemed easy enough for me ; maybe I aimed too high. I think the one that helped me more was TMPEGENC*$#&.... But, as I said, it was too hard for me and I stopped using all these progs ; my DVDs have two to three films each, no menus at all, and I'm very happy that way. Saves me bunches of time. Let me know if you find an easy way...

Sorry lads but I`ve had no experience with subs at all, never use them.
I can`t undestand why DVD Author would drop them though? Is there another update for it above 1.5? (there were a lot of improvements between 1.1 and 1.5..) |
