Cannot decode dxtory footage with mpc be, why?

I wish I could get mpc to decode my dxtory recorded in game footage but on the kmplayer can decode it for some reason... any advice on how to transfer the filters or codecs or decoders that can play my dxtory footage which is .avi container on mpc?

By the way doesn't GCN 1.0 support AMD VCE encoding? I'm looking to make the video smaller but need the speed of hardware acceleration to do so.

Thanks

This below data is from the kmplayer, so what do i do to get the decoder filters or codecs from the kmpayer to mpc be to make it work?

they ship a directshow filter that doesn't work with some video renderer like madVR. so not installing dxtory and suing OBS instead already fixes the issue.
if you block it it works just fine using internal ones.

maybe always prefer internal filter for xtor so the one in 20 mill doesn't encounter this issue.

AMD is generally terrible at hardware encoding and GCN 1.0 is so old you are nearly for sure better of using something else i wouldn't be shocked if x264 very fast is massively better.

You can try a test build - mpc-be_1.6.7.86_xtory_test1.x64.7z.
Patch.

this build uses the internal filter and works just fine with madVR.

i have to prefer the dxtory filter to break playback again here on my system.

If you wish to get this really ever fixed upload sample file that does not work, and it will get fixed if its broken. Exp. if it is not supported by libavcodec.

it needs some work to make them in a reasonable size and libavcodec works just fine and unlike there own directshow filter.
and the issue could also be in something like madVR so good luck getting that fixed ever.

assume chris89 has the same issue. there is no point in me uploading a sample because i may not have the same issue.

Developers don't have test files. Therefore, Dxtory decoding support will not be added to MPC-BE.
