Fast SVCD shrinker?
I have a 2-disc episode SVCD I'd like to shrink to 1 disc. I've tried wonderful programs like DVD Shrink and such for DVD's that will transcode my DVD in 1 hour or less. Now I'd like to do the same FAST transcoding with my SVCD's, is that possible? I'm not interested in reencoding which will take a whole day or so (my CPU isn't too fast, and I got a LOT of SVCD's to convert)

svcd2dvd
svcd2dvd is the program you are looking for.
The good news is that it does not re-encode the video (it patches it by putting the correct flags in the stream) and it re-encodes the video to 48khz. So the proccess is not that lenghty and you do not lose quality in video. It also has a built in authoring program. Just $5.00 donation required. Here |

DVDLab can also seamlessly re-author your SVCD's to a DVD, where you can add as many SVCD's to fill the DVDR, converts your Audio to 48khz, make menus if you wish, add Chapters, etc. Check out their own tutorial at their home page http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/tutorial/svcd.html
