The DEL key deletes chapters only if the treeview has the focus otherwise it deletes useless titles.
Note, this is a hotkey for a component.
I think you mean a program shortcut which works from everywhere, for example CTRL+DEL.

I am having issues importing subtitles from ChaptersDb: it gives me "Unsupported chapter format".

Example.

Visually looking at them seems they have no issues.

Could you please check it out?

Hi tormento

After a short check I can say the following:
When I download from this side to a .txt file it will not work, I don't know why -> I will check this.
The xml download option is in my eyes broken. Now you get an xml with ChapterGrabbers own format inside. When you save with this option and rename the extension to ".chapters" it will work with cE.

The chapters for your title (Talk to her) can be downloaded directly with cE's chapter database.

I saw but I have issues changing frame rate, i.e. it reports to be 29.90 and I have to change to 24. Simply changing the source frame rate, it changes the chapters list, while changing the destination frame rate, it does nothing.

I can download this title and can change FPS without issues. mmh.

The issue with the .txt from ChapterDB site is found. The "next line" consists only one char. When I check other .txt files there are always 2 chars for the "next line"

The issue is that the time codes changes as soon as you change the source fps, even if the same as the reported one in the download list.

A short explanation about FPS changing in cE.
Change Source or Target FPS will immediately change the time stamps! But this is not an issue or will make issues.
You can always set source and target FPS to the same value and you get original time stamps.

Lets say in the source FPS is a value of 24 and the target FPS is 30.
Now you load a chapter file witch have an original FPS of 25.
Now we change the source FPS to 25 -> yes the timestamps change and for now it is not correct/ not what you want.
Change the target FPS to 25 and now you have the original time stamps again.
When you want change the FPS from 25 to 24000/1001(23.976) then you have to change the target FPS to 24000/1001, thats all.

I have bought Ergo Proxy BDs. They have a strange authoring, i.e. there are 5 episodes per BD but chained together as a single playlist.

Ripping the AV is not a problem, as every episode has its own M2TS but the chapters are chained in a single file.

Can you give me a idea or introduce a feature to split every chapter list to its own M2TS?

Here you can find the xml.

Yes you can use the new feature Split Chapters

Use the second split option "split individual".
Add the numbers of the chapters for each chapter named with a new m2ts file.

For your file it looks like this: 1,6,11,17,23,29

You could add "split by same name" or better "split by m2ts". Perhaps it's not the same BD such authored.

Split by chapter names is not a good idea, because only my BD2mkv set chapter names from the m2ts files and I guess all other tools don't do that.

For your case, (second split option) the first split number (= 1) was not correct. A value of 1 is ignored.

Split by m2ts could be ok?

Yeah, I know that some BDs have only one playlist for all the episodes and in other threads I read it would be nice if such a feature is present in the tool.
Maybe is videoh with DGDemux the first one, I guess Mosu has no interest in such feature, and I have thought about it and maybe I will implement such feature for the BD2mkv editor.

But for splitting chapters it makes not much sense to say "look at the chapter names".

Not at chapter names but at different M2TS files.

Each episode has its own M2TS file but they are joined in a single MPLS and consequent single chapter list.

Guys is there any replacement yet for chapterdb? It's been so long and, I guess, cE is using the cached Plex version, right? That's why we can't upload new chapters? I've tried a couple of times and every time uploading didn't do anything.

cE uses it's own database. I have copied the chapters from ChapterDB. You can upload to cE's database, this works!
