High Frame Rate .avi and no Subs
I was using AutoGK 2.45 and once I converted a .vob file, I am using DVDFab Decrypter to rip the DVD, to an .avi file I would just go to the internet and get a .srt file and using GOM Player the subs and avi file would be in synch. Now I am using AutoGK 2.48 and I am converting the files target quality at 100% and the frame rates are above 30 FPS. Now all the divx sub file from the internet are out of synch and I have gone through a lot of programs. How can I get a subtitle file or program rip the sub, or convert a current sub fiel to the frame rate I need.

Here is the lower portion of the AutoGk file:
[4/9/2008 1:12:27 AM] Duration was: 1 hour, 10 minutes 17 seconds [4/9/2008 1:12:27 AM] Speed was: 34.51 fps. [4/9/2008 1:12:27 AM] Job finished. Total time: 1 hour, 12 minutes 8 seconds I also just tried to convert "The Last King of Scotland" and it gave me this: [4/13/2008 11:25:46 AM] Duration was: 3 hours 11 minutes 12 seconds [4/13/2008 11:25:46 AM] Speed was: 15.43 fps. [4/13/2008 11:25:46 AM] Job finished. Total time: 3 hours 15 minutes 35 seconds I have been having this trouble ever since I upgraded from AutoGK 2.45, to 2.48. I there a program out there that can give you the framerate of an .avi file. I think this may just be an error with 2.48. |

If the audio and video of your AVI is in synch, then there's nothing wrong with the encode or the resultant AVI. Your subtitle file might be of a different framerate (e.g. your AVI might be 23.976 fps, but your subtitle file might be 25 fps). Use GSpot to check the framerate of your AVI file and either resync the subtile to the same framerate using Subtitle Workshop or go get a subtitle file which has the same framerate.
