updated http://www.selur.info/hybrid/Hybrid_100227_3.zip subMe 10 should now work too (didn't update subMe on trellis change )

Does anyone know all of the container extensions mp4box can handle (atm. it's restricted to 3gp, mp4 and f4v inside Hybrid)

Don't see any container thats 'mp4 compatible' as I ment it.
I'm looking for which container can be re-/demuxed by mp4box and from which it can extract stuff.

Just made a silent update to all the Hybrid_100227_3-builds, will now take a shower, grab a bite, watch daily show and then go to sleep, so I'll be back in around 9 hrs.

Cu Selur

tried to extract and remux the file via:
Quote:
mkvextract tracks "Input.mkv" 2:"test_eng.ac3"
mkvextract tracks "Input.mkv" 3:"test_jpn.ac3"
mkvextract tracks "Input.mkv" 1:"test.264"
mkvmerge --ui-language en -o "test.mkv" -d 0 --no-track-tags --default-duration 0:30000/1001fps --aspect-ratio-factor 0:1.185 --fourcc 0:MP4V --no-chapters --forced-track 0:no --no-audio --no-subtitles "test.264" --no-track-tags --no-chapters --forced-track 0:no -a 0 --no-video --no-subtitles "test_eng.ac3" --no-track-tags --no-chapters --forced-track 0:no -a 0 --no-video --no-subtitles "test_jpn.ac3" --no-global-tags
-> no clue what's with the file but even after a simple remux it's asynch.

Two solutions
1) remux source mkv and force 24000/1001 frame rate
2) add convertfps=true to DirectShowSource

Problem is: how to detect that it is 24000/1001 automatically?
(ffmpeg detects '23.98 tbr', but mediaInfo and mplayer both detect 29.976 fps and mkvinfo also shows 29.976)

Hybrid ver. 100228

*fixed*
- a bunch of audio related problems on linux (e.g. ffmpeg->sox->neroAacEnc)
- audio copy (used on audio passthrough or when using raw audio input)
- job indexing on multi audio

-> updated links in 1st post

Cu Selur

Ps.: no clue atm how to better detect fps than mediainfo,... -> got an idea may be extracting the time codes will help (just have to figure out how to get them with mkvextract and then integrate them into Hybrid)
('mkvextract.exe timecodes_v2 wrongFramerate.mkv 1:timecodes.txt' seems to work )

eac3to would allow the user to open complete BluRay's directly in Hybrid not just files (*.m2ts)
title choice for multiple titled discs like you allow with DVD's
extract original chapters from source
eac3to audio functions it's what seperate it's from most demuxers hands down essential tool for BluRay conversions

Hybrid x264 interface is awesome control of so many switches in a GUI is sweet great coding you doing keep it up

working on timecode extraction atm to be able to get the right averageFps and keep them on passthrough.
strange thing is
Code:
mkvextract timecodes_v2 "D:\sx264\testclips\wrongFramerate.mkv" 1:"timeCode_22_55_22_058.txt"
creates a timecode file
Code:
mkvextract timecodes_v2 "D:\sx264\testclips\wrongFramerate.mkv" 1:timeCode_22_55_22_058.txt
creates a timecode file
Code:
mkvextract timecodes_v2 "D:\sx264\testclips\wrongFramerate.mkv" 1:"D:\Encoding Temp\timeCode_22_55_22_058.txt"
doesn't create a timecode file
->going to ask mosu for help,..
seems to be my system was at fault, works now
-> send Alex a link to a fixed version for testing
