Just a quick one - I've just replaced it with the latest version and am trying to do a restart at the rebuild stage (to see if it may get around the DoRebuild error). However, whereas I could do this with the previous version the new one wants to start from scratch. I have tried the old inf file, and even tried to reproduce all of the settings in a new one but no joy. No great problem, it was just to save a few hours wasted time if it fails.

I can't think of any changes made that would cause it to not recognize the same parameters... if the previous version would resume, this one should too.

- Added an option to SETUP to keep HD audio streams
intact (for BD25 encoding only).

This is an awesome feature. Not just for BD-25 recording, but also great for people who want to store a compressed ISO of the BD-25 on their harddrive for backup for viewing on a computer.

@jdobbs:
It is good to hear from you, it has been awhile, and thanks for your continued efforts to improve this great software you've developed! I have looked but can't seem to find the way to not reencode certain m2ts files, but to leave them as original and just copy them to the new project. What is the correct wording and location to put this to force BD-RB to not reencode a M2TS file? ( is it something like MIN_M2TS_SIZE...., and just below [Options] in the configuration settings or does it need to be placed in a specific location? ) Does the size of the M2TS files need to be in kb's or mb's? Though I have not needed to use this for any specific backup or file, it would be nice to understand the proper method and procedure just in case.

@ Jdobbs

It's nice to have you back. Welcome back! I know somebody already said this but I think keep HD Audio should be greyed out if target size is not BD25. So people won't complain about poor quality on other media size.

Also do you still accept donation via mail.

This is a much welcomed feature. I for sure will be getting this program, once BD-R Media and burners become affordable enough.

Also if option to encode extras is set to quick, it fails to encode video as well. As usual setting is same for the rest of it.
------------------------------

It fails on pass 1 of encoding. I can play "VID_00013.AVS" file in Windows Media Player and Nero Show time. Which doesn't have any sound but video plays fine. Also Anydvd is using it's default setting.

It is new project. In other words no resume from old one.

Let me know if you need something else related to it.

Had the same error and found a work around that worked for me had a few others do the same error. This is what I did and has worked 100% on all that gave me that error.
When I open the folder in BD Rebuilder I noticed there is an extra video file showing up under the audio so what ever file it was for eg 0002 I moved the file to another folder temporarily and told BD Rebuilder to open the folder again and now that extra file is not there, now click backup and you will get an erro "to be expected" in the BD log on the screen. Move that file back to where it came from and do not rescan the folder again and just click backup again and let it go. I've done this on about 5 so far and all work great. Not sure why it has worked but it has.
Not sure how you came up with that but it worked for me on Blindness will have a go with Leon later tonight

It won't give them poor quality on other targets, because it will be ignored.

Great stuff. Can't wait to test.

Does this also include uncompressed LPCM, or is just TrueHD and DTS-HD MA?

Thanks

VERBATIM, MEMOREX, TDK, MAXELL BD-R 25 GB
Free Space: 25 025 314 816 bytes

BD-RE have less capacity, but this can be fix :
Start Imgburn -> Tools -> Settings -> "Write tab" -> "Prefer format without spare areas"

Any limitations would be those associated with TSMUXER. So if you follow those rules/limitations you should be ok. I have tried the new version of BD-RB with TSMUXER v1.8.4 thru v1.8.35 and they all work correctly. Please note, though, that only v1.8.4 has been extensively tested against multiple sources.

I lowered the default output target size for BD-25 for that very reason on the most recent release. BD-RE is smaller than BD-R. Are you using a specified target size, or did you get that size from one of the defaults?

I wouldn't count on a good write with a source that is larger than the target disc. You could replace one of the audio streams with a smaller one (after some manual processing) and rebuild to a smaller size.

Question.. why is --vbv-maxrate 35000 used by BD Rebuilder? Seems kinda weird/useless/unnecessary to have a bitrate peak limit.

Because the Bluray video standard has a peak limit....
