You don't need any fancy frontend, just a good remote for MPC-BE/HC, but it's your choice.

outputting 4K So here's the problem Yes true after many test (Intel ,NUC6CAYH) not power to run madVR on outputting 4K - I change settings all scaling to lanczos - And changed GPU settings to 1080p Everything is good and I am satisfied with the results (Screen shot , 1 - 2 ) My TV not support 24p Playback and any Judder-free (I will update them soon ) But with I felt much better With Play 24p Movies with madVR Now do you recommend changing any settings in madVR ? I change settings all scaling to (lanczos) Is this good or change it ? Thanks . |

Micro-LED pretty much takes the best of both worlds and none of the bad things. |

I'm currently using lanczos for chroma up, NGU sharp medium for image up. I have a fairly high end machine and RX550 and mine struggles with anything beyond those settings. You get diminishing returns anyway the higher you go and if you are sat 8ft from your TV you wont see any difference anyway. |

Best of both worlds? The response time and per pixel control? Nah. |

Vega64, using D3D11 would freeze after a few frames, not sure why, as it works for SDR. I am pretty sure NGU very high was used, without enhancements; sadly I can't retest as I don't own a 4k+HDR display, this was just a one time opportunity to test.

Hey, I was just wondering what the "best" (as in using all of madvr's features and with minimal load) way to use lav video's new d3d11 decoding was: is it leave it on auto and native (will lav then dither and colour convert?..) or choose a gpu for copyback? I'm assuming "use d3d11 for presentation" is mandatory in madvr either way.

Micro-LED does have per pixel control. Hence the "micro" in the name, the LEDs are "micro" sized so that you have individual LEDs for each subpixel. It's a regular "inorganic" version of OLED.

MicroLED technology is just another half-assed solution until true (i.e. electro-emissive) quantum dot displays would arrive. It looks a little better than other half-assed solutions like OLED or photo-emissive QD over regular LEDs, but it's still half-assed (they are already planning to combine microLEDs with photo-emissive QD layer once again). And it seems like in the end microLED won't fit for relatively big screens due to very high production costs. Currently it's nothing more than another rushed attempt to flog a half-dead VR horse and/or Apple's next advertising gimmick to show off as "innovative" again - so all this sudden hype around microLED.

Guys, please could you take the MicroLED discussion somewhere else? Not everyone is interested in this
