OK, guys, thanks. Give me a few days as this will require Nvidia's attention.

Big O was watching this thread and when I got back from dinner, there was a mail from him with the fix for the blocking. Get the updated nvcuvid.dll from the 1.0.0 distribution.

I'm looking into the 700 decode error problem.

After the latest update even "700 decode problem" is not left while playing with DGVC1indexNV. (BTW, original vc1 cuts have been done by eac3to directly)

Re-encoding to h264 of interlaced or progressive clips is still problematic btw. (no problem in playing with the original vc1 on DGVC1IndexNV)
I can watch created h264mkv via GraphStudio;
the chain is:
Haali > ArcsoftVideo decoder > Video Renderer-or/ Video Mixing Renderer9 which means i still have to see the interlacing artifacts (if the original is interlaced) and no DXVA decoding; picture freezes at the beginning of the clip with EVR...

Hi guys,
I've found the problem.
I forgot to wear my eyeglasses; so i used SD_HQ profile by mistake (instead of HD-HQ preset)
Here it is: (corrected one)

@neuron2,

I get this error while trying to open avs on MeGui: (trying to deinterlace the MC video)

Here is the avs:
Code:
LoadPlugin("C:\users\rica\desktop\DGVC1\DGVC1DecodeNV.dll")
VC1Source("G:\MC\MC.dgv",deinterlace=true)
Am i doing something wrong or Purevideo gets it as progressive?

another repeatable bug i think:

pink square top left, in the posted clip i get a few of them in different frames aswell. only when viewing the avs script of the indexed clip.

if same clip is run using DS it isnt there, so am thinking its a indexing issue.

pink dot:

no pink dot:

edit : seems you can see this bug when just previewing too, so maybe its not the indexing as i thought...

deinterlace is an int: 0=no deinterlace, 1=deinterlace, 2=bob.

damn

if i see this in the preview window of DGVC1DecNV, and after encoding it is in the finished result, i assume i need to figure what else could be in the chain? i didnt think there was much else that could effect the output from DGVC1DecNV in the preview.

i caught this accidentally so it could be happening with all my vc1 encodes at random frames

No, I have duplicated it and Nvidia is on the case.

Big O came through again with a fix! Redownload 1.0.0 and get the updated nvcuvid.dll. It's a pretty rare case apparently.

Isn't Nvidia support the cat's meow?

@woah!

Big O is interested to know what encoder was used or where that clip came from. Anything you could tell us would be valuable. Big O thinks it's a very poor encoder and is wondering who is using it. Thanks.

Isn't it The Dark Knight Blu-ray Disc? If that's true, it's Warner who made that disc.

EDIT: Yes, it is. I just downloaded the sample.
