Yep...I prefer to fix all bugs before to launch a stable version. BTW, the 2 issues listed above are fixed now.

You read in my thoughts, isn't it ?? Yes, I added a slider for AC3 and MP2. Concerning vorbis Q-Mode, I'm trying different things because when the slider is moved, the values chosen for q settings aren't very precise. We need to use the mouse or arrows keyboard to select the q wanted. So, I managed different things to find the best for you.

Hi Kurtnoise13, I just downloaded Belight and wish to convert a 6ch AC3 file to the best quality WAV. I wish to have the same format as you would have when you rip the WAVs out from an audio CD.

There are 4 options under WAV.

1. 16 bits 5.1 Wav
2. 16 bits stereo Wav
3. 16 bits (Six)Mono Waves
4. 32 bits (Six)Mono Waves

which should I choose? What's the difference between each of them? Which is the format that is the same as what you would get when you rip the WAVs out from an audio CD?

as for the mode:

1. HybridGain
2. PostGain
3. PreGain

Which should I choose?

Thank you very much for this neat program.

It depends what you want to do exactly...

1) To have a multichannel wav file (6 channels).
2) To have a stereo wav file (2 channels).
3) To have 6 mono wav files (1 file for each channels) but with a bits depth equals to 16. The same value as CD-A and DVD in general.
4) To have 6 mono wav files (1 file for each channels) but with a bits depth equals to 32.

Number 2. The only difference with CD-Audio can be the Sampling Rate. Most DVD have a Sampling Rate of 48 KHz whereas CD-Audio is 44,1 KHz.

If you don't know what is it exactly, let it by default.

HE-ACC

I dont know if this is a format issue or a command line problem but when I try to convert a 160kbps 48khz mp2 file to a HE-AAC 40kbps down mixed to mono the speed is very slow. I think it is something I am not doing write but I do not know where ells to ask.

PS. Great GUI every thing ells works good as far as I can tell.

Yeah...some people have noticed the same buzz. Maybe it's a bug into bsn/besweet ?? I don't know really. I tested directly into Nero and all seems to be ok with it. If someone have an idea to help us...

The procedure entry point vorbis_sythesis_halfrate could not be located in the dynamic link library vorbis.dll

May have nothing to do with your excellent interface. Can you advise?

I never had problems downloading your files at corecodec. The only thing that hits me was the hidden download button because of the high resolution on this website. Even @ 1024*768 it's out of reach, so you have to scroll to the right
Mostly the problem arises with hidden referrers, so if everybody is turning their browsers to default, there should be no problems.
I tried it with an online proxy and software proxy too. No problem.

Thanks for your nice work. It is really appreciated.

Cheers
