How to detect the length of a playlist Programmatically?

As we know, the length of a playlist can be found with blu-ray player. However, how can we obtain this value in a programmatical way? For example, parse the corresoponding mpls file or correlated m2ts file.
Thanks.

I would suggest to use BDInfo (sec granularity), DGDemux (sec granularity), BDEdit (msec granularity).
Or do you want to code that yourself ?

Thanks a lot. Before coming here, I have used BDInfo already. A msec granularity is preferred.
To be honest, I would like to code myself, as long as I know how these tools work.
