@Atak_Snajpera:
Thanks, that was it!
Is there an indicant to determine if deinterlace is necessary or not, without having to test-encode ?
Some videos gave me very nice picture even without using deinterlace.

Error encoding from DTS to AAC 5.1

I been trying to convert my backup copy of Dark Knight in MKV to MP4 and in the process encoding the DTS track to AAC 5.1 192kbps but every time I get the same error, and only the video track is muxed. Here is the partial part of the log where Nero AAC Encoder shows an error.

There's nothing wrong with the DTS track since I was able to transcode to AAC 5.1 using Foobar2000.

Multitask is busy posting around the forums check bluerip and Hybrid.

Never had an issue with Wav in staxrip myself, but never tried flac. Will give flac a go, how have you enabled flac support/decoder on your pc?

I use K-lite codec pack now (switched from CCCP again) to decode and as far as encoding I have flac for windows from flac's sourceforge page so yeah i should handle flac just fine. Im gonna test wav again as i think there was some error on my part somehow... but yeah from both i got too many sync errors and it ended up broken audio when attempted to convert wav/flac to ogg,aac,mp3,ac3.

[update] Retest done and same results. it ends up 8-66kb broken audio. whats going on?

thank you for that but it seems abit faster but its not what i thought i would get as its only around 230fps but if i use avi synth 2.60 alpha 2 i get a good 220-280fps, i know that my cpu should give me a good 300+ fps

my cpu specs are:
core i7 920 @ 4ghz (4 cores)

is there something i am missing ?

p.s i have tryed tsp and sets mt avi synth and its still the same or slower

I'll pausing StaxRip now until next winter, maybe I'll make some small fixes and updates, I simply want to sit much less in front of a PC! I'll try to maintain email support but since there are many requests I can't help with everything. Happy encoding everybody until I'm back.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/sta...ta.7z/download

1.1.5.2 beta
  • Added eac3to GUI for Blu-ray demuxing
  • Added feature to save thumbnails similar like the MPC feature, can be enabled in the options under Advanced > Image and customized in the settings under General > Advanced > Thumbnails. To generate thumbnails without processing a project go to Tools > Advanced > Batch generate thumbnails
  • Added feature to cut using mkvmerge when just muxing is used and no encoding is performed, can be enabled in the muxer configuration
  • Added feature to append code to Trim functions useful to add FadeIn/FadeOut (Options > Advanced > Filters)
  • Added support for file extensions containing non word characters, *.thd+ac3 for instance
  • Added support muxing Blu-ray audio formats
  • Added better default handling for various formats
  • Added option to encode audio to Flac using eac3to
  • Updated mkvtoolnix to version 3.2.0 ('Beginnings')
  • Updated x264 to r1471. Reset video encoder profiles because the default for --b-pyramid was changed to normal in x264. Projects/jobs/templates are not reset.
