I assume you mean this disgusting piece of text :-

I gave up trying to rephrase this meaningfully within the space available.

And yes I will have to do another build to get the up to date changelists/release notes for Russian and English

How about "Unpack files to install directory, but don't register AviSynth with Windows (for use with applications that can use AviSynth directly)"?

IanB, current text is not so bad.

The most trouble is "Standalone" type name. It is not commented any way (no any help).
May be replace it to more long? such as

"Standalone non-functional"
or
"Standalone non-registered"
or
"Semi-portable non-registered"

or similar to prevent any normal user to select it

Leak's suggesting may be considered too.

How about "[Just] Extract files" (or "Unpack files [only]") instead of "Standalone installation"? (Or some other combination of those words...)

Okay here is a full 4.0Mb installer package. If we are happy with the look, feel and translations (thanks Wilbert) I will put this up as the formal RC5 in a day or so.
