HDR too dark on UHD

Hello guys, i have some issu with HDR being too dark

Here are some screenshot of Alita bluray 2160p and bluray 1080p

As you can see the 2160p bluray is a lot darker than the 1080p one.

I have this issu with all my HDR bluray.

I try to change setting from RGB Full to YCbCr444 but its the same.

TV correctly switch to HDR when playing the movie
Windows correctly switch to HDR too.

Do you have any suggestion ? Is it possible that its only a tv setting issu ?

-TV is Sony HDR XD9305 https://www.whathifi.com/sony/kd-55xd9305/review
-Graphic card is GTX 1080
-HDMI cable is 2.0
-Madvr lastest version
-Player is MPC HC and MPCBE
-Windows 10 - 1903

What driver version?
See here for issues in the drivers:
AMD, Intel and Nvidia driver issues and last recommended version

So , i rollback from previous driver, try the one suggested and still the same issu.

I find a solution, disable madvr HDR passthrough and set convert HDR "display peak nits" to 100 instead of 200 but tv is not in HDR anymore..

Color looks more natural now and less dark.

Thanks for your help

I had the same problem before and my fix was changing the black level of my display. If you are sending signals in full range but your display is in low black level the image would be a lot darker than it should be
