I used the newest tsmuxer and demuxed the video and audio, then remuxed it to mkv using the sw in the first post.
It played smooth with no jerkiness. The ripped m2ts was jerky though, but after making the mkv the picture was smooth.
I updated the first post. thank you for your help!
