YAMB 1.3 is out

Finally...I kicked my own ass and I release a new YAMB version.

Changes from version 1.2.1 to 1.3 :

Quote:
Add:
- Languages Flag, Media Delays, Force FPS and other Imports useful Settings.
- Unicode Support.
- Global Info & Infos by Tracks.
- Extract subtitles option.
- Yamb borders are resizable.
- Options Settings are reminded automatically.
- Possibility to copy the command line to the ClipBoard or anything else.
- Multiple Selections Files for A/V Input files concerning Joining Parts.

Improvements:
- List Menu Entries.
- Merge Audio & Video Input Files for the Mux Part.
- Log tab.

Bugfixes:
- Movie Info Box color for non XP machines.
- Import Settings.
- Output File Extensions.
- Update Extract A/V Track from AVI file option.
You can download the last package here (and Yamb only there) or directly on my website: http://kurtnoise.free.fr/Yamb/ if you can't access on the main links.

In addition, I would say that you can see MediaInfo.dll in these packages. It's just to have some infos concerning import settings (just move the mouve on edit area). By example :

Enjoy...

Very, very nice work indeed Kurt

Shame Bond is not here to comment.... Where is that boy?

Just tested some basic muxes so far.... But will try some tougher ones tomorrow!

Many thanks

I've found a bug

When you try to extract an MPEG-4/SP/ASP or AVC stream from an MP4 file the "Extract Track".... "in RAW format" and "to new MP4 file" options operate the wrong way round (ie: the RAW option creates an MP4 file and MP4 option creates an RAW file).

Plus when you try and change/switch between the RAW and MP4 output options YAMB crashes...

Cheers

ooOo yeah, you're right. My mind is going... I've seen also that some remove/clear functions don't work properly in mux tab...>_<

Yamb or MP4box ? If it concerns MP4box, did you use my own build or Celtic_Druid build ? Test both and tell me what's happen. Thanks.

And yesterday, I forgot to mention one thing : if you want to change output folder for the mux, you need to make a double click on the edit area to open the SaveDialog box...

I've just installed YAMB v1.3 using your "setup.exe"... But when I tried muxing and de-muxing I got this: -

EDIT: I don't seem to be able to use YAMB at all with your build of MP4Box.exe

Cheers

isn't that error message rather self-explaining?

Agreed... It might be to some...

Does this error message mean "libmmd.dll" is missing from YAMB or from Kurt's MP4Box.exe compile!

This error only shows up when installing Kurts full version of YAMB (ie: with his MP4Box compile). When running YAMB "lite" (for want of a better expression), this error message does not appear!

Cheers

You're already halfway through the thinking process. It would be quite a logical conclusion to assume something is wrong with that mp4box build. You can easily verify that by launching that particular mp4box version from the commandline.. if the same error pops up, you know what it is, and then that's the point where you post "hey, your package is missing libmmd.dll".

IIRC libmmd.dll is a dll from the intel compiler.. you just need one in your system but without it, a bunch of apps I know that have been compiled with the intel compiler cannot be executed.

Indeed...I forgot to put libmmd.dll in the whole package. So, redownload it (same link as above) or grab the library here.

@Bond: pretty strange...did you use a win98 or older system before ? if yes, wait the non unicode version.

Thanks for the revised build....

I'm able to confirm my previously mentioned "Extract Track" bug (YAMB crash) also happens with your supplied build of MP4box.exe

Cheers

Yep... you seem to have cracked it with your revised build Kurt!

Nice one... a brilliant little application

EDIT: The AAC-HE "signalling" option works well.... It even flags up the "AAC h" icon in ShowTime player now...

Cheers
