Damaged ac3-file: delay after correction by Besplit?

Hello!

I need help with the following problem:

1. I have an ac3-file with the negative audio delay of -80.
So I tried to use ac3 delay corrector 1.8, but it reports that the stream is damaged.

2. I read that Besplit can correct that AND compensate for the delay, so I used the tool (also see log-file attached):

BeSplit -core( -input D:\DVD\PROJEKT\AUDIO\Deutsch.ac3 -prefix D:\DVD\PROJEKT\AUDIO\Deutsch-neu.ac3 -logfile BeSplit.txt -type ac3 -ending ) -split( 0.080 )

Ok, now the stream has been repaired (besplit reported some sync errors). And I have noticed that the ac3-file resulting from besplit is indeed slightly smaller.

BUT NOW THE QUESTION: What delay has the ac3-file after having been corrected and compensated for the delay by Besplit? Is it "0"?

Thanks in Advance.

JANUS

PS: Somedbody told me that an ac3-file has 32 ms per frame, so the delay should be either -16 or +16... is this correct?

Logfile is attached.

Hello DSPGuru,

The logifle is attached in my first post (besplit.txt). Or have I made a mistake attaching the file? I'll attach the file again, just to be on the safe side.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

JANUS

i see three "big" errors in the file (1248,1331,1343), so i guess you lost something like 2 to 4 frames, which is like negative delay of 64ms to 128ms.
