The m2ts corresponding to the 3 pop-up menus I see/modify without problems.

However, it is impossible to locate the m2ts that contain the main menu and the language selection menu.

Has anyone come across something similar?

What does BDedit show? There has to be playlist(s) for those menus. The given playlist, the STN table will call out the M2TS file used for the IG.

BDInfo finds 00000.mpls pointing to 00000.m2ts containing IG.

BDEdit v0.56b7: 00000clpi -> contains BG in MPEG-2 + PID 1400 IG

Menu tab shows 6 BOGs
0000 is DEUTSCHLAND inactive
0001 is DEUTSCHLAND active
0002 is FRANCE inactive
0003 is FRANCE active
0004 is UK/AUS/NZ inactive
0005 is UK/AUS/NZ active

Yes, there are quite a few m2ts that contain IG.

But they correspond to the pop-up menu and the initial country selection.

There are also others that have nothing to do with the audio/subs selection.

But there is none that corresponds to the main menu.

If 00000 is not what you want:
00004..00040.m2ts contain all the different menu backgrounds in 3 languages for the pan/scan-zooming main menu selection
00043...00048.clpi is full of IGs for these menu BGs

Hi, yes Emulgator 00000.m2ts is multiplexed containing MPEG-2 + PID 1400 IG.

The main menu is divided into 3 languages: French, German and English.

The problem is that the menus are movies that interact with button programming.

Software needed:

1. BDEdit - free. Always check back for latest version.
2. Photoshop CS, CS2 or CS3 ( works best with Scenarist Designer PS ) - not free.
3. Scenarist Designer PS - not free

Let's get started. Read carefully and don't skip any steps.

1. Open your BDMV folder in BDEdit.

2. Go to CLIPINF Tab and look for your menu *.clpi file. Once you found it, press Menu.



3. In the MENU Tab, select the Objects Tab and identify the button or buttons you want to edit.

4. Save them on your hard-disk.



5. Save the buttons color palette.



6. Open all buttons in Photoshop and edit them with the language you want. Save them with the same name BDEdit saved them for you, but like this:



Edit and save all your button states like this. You will have 4 folders containing the final *.png files. Before saving in Photoshop, don't forget to merge all layers.

7. Go back to BDEdit, and in Objects TAB, replace the four button states from there with the ones you just edited. To replace an object, do the following:



8. After you have replaced all the button's states, press MUX, replace the original menu *.m2ts file and that's it.

Great tutorial! Im looking to replace a few icons on a menu that are in German. Is it possible to do this without the scenerist software? I have photoshop but not scenerist. Can i just import the png files into photoshop, change them, and import/replace the originals?
