Create Chapters From Ifo`s

Hello ive been using ifo edit to copy my dvd-9`s to dvd-5`s using the m2v remux option unfortunatly without any success, so i have an idea instead of trying to remux the m2v can i author the vobs then create chapters from the ifo files.

Thanks any help will be most welcome

yamyam-

the authoring function of the latest ifoedit will let you use your m2v file and ac3 file to create a new dvd. To get the chapter information for the new dvd, open the ifo file for the vob set you transcoded, then highlight the program chain subheading and highlight the first subheading in that group and open the tools drop down menu and select the last item on the menu. This will save chapter points in a txt file that you can use in your authoring process.

It's very straight-forward. I believe there are a couple of threads that cover this in detail. If not, look on:

Good Luck!
