Can't open the d2v file
After a long carreer in mpeg4, I finally decided to try SVCD now that I have a standalone, on the first episode of the Sopranos. I also tried it on another DVD.
Invariably following internal ripping and starting DVD2AVI I get an error: Cannot open file C:\[divx]\_sopranos-svcd\DVD2AVI_Project_file.d2v. When DVD2AVI is started, no d2v file seems to be created and the minimized DVD2AVI is unresponsive. I tried not touching the PC at all after pressing start, I tried on previously ripped files (by DVD2SVCD), I tried the Auto and On settings in NTSC operations, I tried redownloading the commandline DVD2AVI, I tried in 1.0.7 and 1.0.6, all to no avail. You can imagine that this is driving me crazy. Yes I did read the guide and FAQ and search the forum. My system: Athlon XP 1800+, 512 DDR, 120GXP 80 GB IBM hard drive, Epox 8KHA+ (VIA kt266a), Radeon 8500, SB Audigy platinum, Win XP pro. Here's the log file when ripping internally: Code:
