Thanks. I was wondering, is anyone else having an audio sync issue when doing mkv to avi? The mkv that I am trying to convert has two audio streams (jpn and eng). I want to keep the eng audio, so in the Detected Audio Tracks drop down I select the eng track, and hit encode to avi. Once everything is done, I play the newly created avi file and the video looks good, but there is a big sync issue (the audio is off ~ 10 sec.). Please advise if I could have a setting incorrect somewhere, or the best course of action to fix this issue. If you need to log that is created, please let me know and I can provide that too. Thank you again for your help, and thanks to the coder of this application for their hard work.

You should upload your tool to some free upload website, even rapidshare would work better than this. It's impossible to download and try your tool as it is now.

You better use multiAVCHD for MKV files. Yes, subtitles are supported.

And it converts the file to 720p or 1080p 16:9?

What is it that you ask exactly?

Feed it with 40 MKV files and you will get AVCHD folder to copy to USB and play in your Playstation/BD player.

It won't make it x720... But if you're using PS3 it will play.

You have 2 options: reencode with mkv2avi to AVi with subtitles via AVIADDXSUBS or create AVCHD folder with multiAVCHD.

Didn't know PS3 accepted files without x720. I'll try it latter, MKV2 AVI works fine, only problem is the subs, it wont star aviaddxsubs, i had to star it manualy.

I'm always getting calclib.dll cannot be found/loaded error even though it's in the program folder "Tools".

Any help appreciated.

I've downloaded and installed the full package as per "readme.txt" and I'm running on Windows XP SP3.

All the best,

Sharro

calclib.dll needs to be in your executable path or in your windows path. check its file size - it has to be 1*525*760 bytes.

Stupid Question: how do I pick the subtitle track to use to make sure it comes out on the target avi?

I think it is time to add mkv2avi.exe to multiAVCHD package... It got some nice 'upgrades' like ETA and preview... There is no need to download 20-30MBs when it can be part of the whole package with all of my tools:

Current version is 2.3 build 104.

Download multiAVCHD 4.0 - mkv2avi is included in the package.
