error saving ECL file

after i try to rip and convert it goes through all the normal steps but then after 20 mins it says: Limitation of Trial Version - Can't Save ecl file. can someone help?? i've used DVD2VCD before and i didn't have this problem. i had to reset all my settings because i cleaned out my comp and reinstalled all my programs...
