AC3Filter, DTS-HD and S/PDIF problem
Hello.
I'm using MPC-HC with AC3Filter for playing bluray movies. Video through HDMI to tv. Audio through S/PDIF to 5.1 system. So far i didn't have almost any problems with this combination, but the last movie i bought has an English stream in DTS-HD Quote:
I tested my sound system, and it supports both DTS-HD, 24-bit PCM and 48000 sample rate. Is it possible to force AC3Filter to passthrough DTS-HD? Can some other software do it? Does S/PDIF even support DTS-HD? If so, is it possible to somehow encode DTS-HD to regular DTS (1509 kbps) and then pass it through S/PDIF? Thanks for your help |

AC3Filter does not support it, but ffdshow does.

DTS-HD has a DTS core for backwards compatibility. So it is passing through the core.
