that basically means that ripbot can't detect what type of video it is.

Oh my, the first reviews of the new 6-core i7 980X are out and it looks to be an absolute monster with x264 (50% faster than an i7-975!). Imagine 720p BR rips in less than an hour. Excuse me while I clean myself up....

Cannot Render File??

I recently upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate x64 RC to the full version (7600, Ultimate x64) & am now having a couple issues. I've figured out all the other problems except for wmp classic not being able to render video files to see a preview of my jobs. I'm using RipBot v1.15.1 now. I downloaded the newest version of wmp classic I could find but that doesn't seem to work. I tried searching for the answer already but maybe I'm not using the correct string of words in my search. I believe I went through this when I 1st upgraded to Windows 7 but cannot for the life of me remember how to fix this. Does anyone know off hand? Thank you!

I am looking to use an avisynth plugin called GradFun2DBmod. Can anyone give me pointers as to how to apply this filter to my encodes using RipBot264? I have already tried adding it to several places within the script editor windows, but to no avail.

Hi there, I too am receiving similar error. I have tried the common solution of uninstalling codecs, haali, and ffdshow and reinstalling specified versions but to no avail. Plus do not have this problem with previous version. Any help would be appreciated for this long time ripbot user...

Cheers,

^Nothing has change on my system except for version 1.15.1 of RipBot264. I'm not seeing this problem when rolling back to 1.15.0.

I have a problem with 2 different tracks containing VC-1 streams.

DirectShowSource : Timeout waiting for graph to start.
(D:\Temp\RipBot264temp\job1\getinfo.avs, line 2)

Going back to version 1.15.0 everything works fine.

Atak your bitrate algo was "off" for me (video target was 100Kbps too high) and I can only think that your logic didn't like my unusual audio bitrate which was 320kbps.

Not a big deal for me cuz I only had to re-work the (stereo) audio to 256kbps to fit my DVD-5 without re-encoding, but I thought I'd tell you about it anyway.

AC3 320kbps is very very very rare. That's why I didn't include proper algo for that weird bitrate.
