For BeSweet , I use these dll. Just copy them in the BeSweet directory and uninstall OggDSF. It works fine for me.

BeSweet with aoTuV

Hi there.
I was wondering is there a way to redirect stream from besweet decode (AC3 as input) to oggenc. Or maybe direct from azid.exe to oggenc.exe. I mean like pipe or something. I'm no master with this type of operations so any advice is welcome.

PS: There also aoTuV dlls at http://www.geocities.jp/aoyoume/aotuv/ so maybe they can be use with BeSweet.

Thx.

Just put the libvorbis.dll from
http://www.rarewares.org/files/ogg/libvorbisaoTuVb2.zip
or
http://www.rarewares.org/files/ogg/l...saoTuVb2P4.zip
in the same directory than BeSweet and you can encode from AC3 to Vorbis with BeSweet.

Regardless of whether there is a *vorbis*.dll file in the directory, BeSweet generates Vorbis files stamped Xiph.Org libVorbis I 20020717. In other words, it can produce Vorbis files seemingly without any Vorbis DLLs! Where is it looking?

I use BeSweet 1.5b28 with GUI 0.6.

Post Scriptum
After reading this thread, I learned libvorbis.dll was looking for libmmd.dll. All is well that ends well!

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I think this topic is more or less on point for what I'm interested in doing and I am completely lost.

Basically, I want to use ogg vorbis aoToV b2 rather than lame mp3 as my standard audio format for my dvd backups. Unfortunately, I'm really at a loss for how to do this. I'm not certain what dll's BeSweet needs, and whether virtualdub/nandub will even be able to read these ogg files when it attempts to merge the video and audio streams.

Can someone give me a point in the right direction?

Nandub is dead, use VirtualDubMod. To use Vorbis audio you will need to switch to the OGG or Matroska containers. The BeSweet part is adequately explained in this thread, so just read it again.

My primary concern is with integrating autov with Robot4rip properly. Is this really simply a matter of replacing dll's in my GordianKnot folder, and adding the appropriate command line to the audio preferences menu?

Yes just put libvorbis.dll (from the links given by kurtnoise) in the same directory than BeSweet.

Is there a way to integrate aoTuV into windows, so you donīt need any external Program like BeSweet?

It is integrated--through DirectShow; you can play Vorbis encoded files with Media Player. BeSweet is merely for encoding.

My ATI AiW uses Mpeg2 to record, and I want to transcode some recordings to Xvid + Ogg with VirtualDubMod. If I use BeSweet I have to de/multiplex.
Donīt you need an ACM codec for VirtualDubMod?

There is a very old ACM codec for Vorbis which wasn't quite stable and produced corrupt Vorbis streams. I think the project was abandoned. Hence, Vorbis ACM is evil. lol
