Tested with Terminator 2 same profile and audio and video was perfect.

Tested with Terminator 1 same video profile and AC3 audio and both audio and video perfect.

With other remuxes of those sources I wasn't able to have any video at all under my XMB.
Building a bluray structure to test with my PS3 now. Will post here later.

It will be great if 5.1 is supported under AVCHD disc. We could have subtitles after pelican add suport for 544p and other custom resolutions for his tool SUPread that converts SRT to SUP
When you say Terminator 2 with same profile worked ok, was this also a 1280x544 @5.1 profile dts mkv remuxed into an M2TS without 4.1 profile change? Did audio and video work streamed, or from the internal hdd?

Not sure exactly what you want, I use tsMuxer to populate the 2-3-4-5-6 directories one at a time with the videos that I want to be the 2nd title then 3rd title etc., then use a batch file to copy and rename the streams, playlist and clipinf into the “1” directories, then burn the contents of the 1 directory.
I have also used movie factory 6/w bluray to create the menus.
I don’t know enough about the structure of the menu, playlist or clipinf files to create them from scratch so I use one of these programs to create the files for me. If you know of another program for menu creation that also creates the playlist and clipinf files I’m sure it would also work.
Don't bother yourself anymore, I got them by other way. Thanks for the idea! Will spend weekend trying...

The T2 was @5.1 1280x688 with DTS.
The video plays but XMB doesn't play DTS.

I remuxed only the sample from the movies and put them in a 2GB SD card.

Remux only not reencode or profile change. The profile kept @5.1 and tsmuxer id it as 5.1

I had a problem with Casino HD-DVD with both ripped onto the hard drive and direct from the disk. I was using v1.63 (same with V1.61), after 86.3% through, I got the message tsmuxer must end (send details etc). I also tried he output from evodemux with the same result.

update: i tried v1.65, but that detected the stream as 30000/1001 (not 24000/1001 like the earlier versions). it failled after 3.6%.

update. i got it through 100% now. evodemux (0.627), vc1conv (0.3), tsmuxer (1.63). very long winded, I've never had to do that before - always tsmuxer handled everything. i've yet to see the result on the tvix 6500a yet.

Any ideas. Thanks. Mike.

I also had a problem with cars 'seamless branching' playing on the tvix 6500a. The playback after creating ts or m2ts with tsmuxer (1.63) would play fine on the ps3 or pc with powerdvd. however the playback would stick/jump at the seams on the tvix 6500a.

Now i just tried demuxing the video/audio with tsmuxer (1.63), running through h264info (22 alpha) and then muxing the new video and original audio with tsmuxer (1.63) and the result plays perfectly in the tvix.

does this mean there is a bug in tsmuxer ?

mike

Hiya,

in case it has not been discussed before, i'm facing a problem with subtitles timings when concatenating files, I wanted to encode the simpsons movie bluray (it's splitted in 6 files) with french 'forced' subtitles so I created 1 big file using tsremux, the problem is when I demux the sup streams then use 'em in supread, the time is reset on each of the 6 parts of the movie :/
the only way i found to counter this is to assign each srt (from each sup) to its movie part then concatenate in avisynth but 1 correct sup / srt would be better

PS: there's an error with the concatenated 'forced' sup I get and supread, while the normal full lenght subtitles work (except for the time problem), but it may be a supread bug as well

Thanks your great work

Hi,

tsMuxeR, latest version (as of writing 1.6.3) has problems demuxxing certain subtitles!

It does not complain at all, but the exported sup-files don't work! - e.g. SUPread and suprip won't work with those!

- this definitely is a tsMuxer issue, SUPs exported by xportpgs (from the very same m2ts) do work very well...

greetz,
guru

New version 1.7.1(b) is ready.

- Bug fixed: Now pulldown info correctly processed.
- Ability to remove pulldown info from stream added. All video codecs are supported: H.264, VC-1, MPEG2.
- Some small bug fixes and improvements. Also tsMuxeR package size is decreased and dependings to other libraries have been removed.

Would it be possible to add/amend the PAR of an AVC video stream?
