Reindeer Games[Region 1] Widescreen or Fullscreen Cheat Sheet

This has been tested with success in IFOedit, PowerDVD, WinDVD, and my 2 standalones.

Tool I used
IFOedit 0.95
DVD Decrypter in File Mode and selecting certain files

Title Information
Title 1: VTS_05 contains your widescreen movie
Title 2: VTS_04 contains your fullscreen movie
__________________________________________________________
1. Create a folder named “RG” and a subfolder named “Files”.
__________________________________________________________
2. Rip the following files for your desired aspect ratio to your “RG”folder.

WIDESCREEN: Rip all files except VTS_04_1.VOB to VTS_04_4.VOB
FULLSCREEN: Rip all files except VTS_05_1.VOB to VTS_05_4.VOB

3. Open VIDEO_TS.IFO with IFOedit and press “Get VTS Sectors” buttons to load other IFOs.

4. Just in case, region Free every IFO and save commands if region code commands were detected. Just a habit of mine.

5. Backup all IFOs to “Files” subfolder. It’s a good practice to backup your original files prior to editing. In case you mess up, you can always copy over your these files over your badly edited one and then press your “Get VTS Sectors” button to refresh data in IFOedit.

6. Bypass Copyright Warnings

In VIDEO_TS.IFO / VMG Overview / Language Menu Unit 1, do a Delete Playback on the following menus. Select and press your Delete Playback button. If successful, your number of Programs and Cells should be zero and (uses VOB-IDs: #) should disappear.

Go to VTS_02_0.IFO / VTS_PGCITI / VTS_PGC_1 / PGC Command Table. Edit the “Number of Pre Commands” value as value plus “Number of Post Commands” value. Edit as follows by double left clicking on value and enter sum value.

PGC Command Table:

OLD > Number of Pre Commands.....3
OLD > Number of Post Commands....1

NEW > Number of Pre Commands.....4

10. Bypass Trailers Before the Menu

Go to VTS_07_0.IFO / VTS_PGCITI / VTS_PGC_3 / PGC Command Table. Edit the “Number of Pre Commands” value as value plus “Number of Post Commands” value. Edit as follows by double left clicking on value and enter sum value.

PGC Command Table:

OLD > Number of Pre Commands.....2
OLD > Number of Post Commands....1

NEW > Number of Pre Commands.....3

By doing this, all your Post Commands will shift up become Pre Commands and your PGC Video (Trailers) will not play. Your Main Menu will now display upon DVD insert.
