d2v Info

I know that GordianKnot (A great program!) parses the d2v frameserver and finds out how many frames are in the movie. How does the program do that? Is is stored in the d2v file, or is it calculated? How do I use the d2v file to get the frame count of the movie?

Thanks for the info,
TelemachusMH

gknot uses mpeg2dec.dll to do that. long time ago mainly my brother wrote this code.
atm i don't remember myself how it works exactly...
but there are some nice functions in the dll that are easy to call.
