Thats just wrong.

The DTS-HD MA decoder in LAV Audio using the ArcSoft dtsdecoderdll works just fine. It functions correctly, as proven by bitwise comparisons of the output PCM. It fully reproduces the original PCM losslessly.

PS:
Your "explanation" of DTS-HD is completely wrong, too.
Its not two separate streams. Its one stream.

yea, it definitely works.

with the dts-hd encoder suite, you can actually make a 7.1 dts-hd ma file with a blank dts core by playing around with a custom downmix.
This allows you to simply check for dts-hd decoding by seeing if anything plays.
