Help on Cropping

Hi All..

I would like some help on AVISYNTH comands to enable me to convert a "cinemascope" stream to a more watchwable 16:9 type ratio.

This is for use in DVD2SVCD, backing up DVD's that are in cinemascope format.

I presume I need a CROP command to chop off a portion of the left and right hand side of the picture, and then an ADD BORDERS command to add 'smaller' black borders to the top of the picture. (Smaller than the huge borders that get added to the cinemascope prints).

Please don't "preach" about how awful and immoral it is to cut bits off of the left and right hand side.. Cinemascope is an awful aspect ratio to watch on a 4:3 TV
