FCP EDL into Sony Vegas

I've got a .edl file from FCP which I need to open in Sony Vegas (7.0e).

When I open it is obviously looking for the media...the media is not where it should be so I use the option provided by Vegas to select a replacement file. I do this and all I get is a blank grey screen (which I think is actually the last frame of the file)...I've tested it by selecting another file as the replacement and this time all that displays is a single frame of the file.

Anyone have any ideas what might be going on here? Or suggestions for opening FCP edls in Vegas?
