Which is the more efficient encode settings of these two?

Hey guys,
Can you tell me which is the more efficient encode setting from the two I am listing below and what should I change in any of them, both are ripped from the same BD.

Can you please explain how you created those files? Did you even create both encodes from the same source?

Both are from the same BD (I know both are a little different, one contains subtitles, one contains a new language track, the files were created on different hardware), can you tell which came out better looking at the first Video track and first Audio track.

First one is *more likely* to look better based only on the given information, because of a much higher bitrate and only slightly changed encoder settings. But we can't say for sure because we don't know what they look like.

I can provide some screenshots, what would be the best way to capture them lossless?

Doesn't sound like your created those encodes yourself. Please clarify: How exactly did you obtain those different encodes of the same source?

The first encode is directly from the BD, the second one is rencoded from a remux.

This doesn't answer the question. Closed for probable rule #6 case. PM me, if you want to clarify.
