Identify codec all files on entire disk, software?

A guy coded up an app called "Video Explorer" over on the Kodi forums about 5+ years ago and all mirrors of it are gone.

It was a pretty decent application and I'l be damned if I can find it.

Here's a picture of what it looked like

Does anyone know of a similar tool to this? I'd like to search my entire filesystem for all files of a certain codec.

Oh wow, I didn't know archive.org could do binaries too, thank you.

While I'm here, I assume some of the smart folks on this site would know of similar applications that continue to be maintained and or superior? So if there's suggestions of a replacement, so I don't need to carefully hang on to this file, it woudl be appreciated.

Thanks.
