Here are my tests with the maximum supported title count and the latest (570) build:
Speed (without the time needed to convert titles to AVCHD) 252 titles are processed: * in about 8 minutes if no menu is generated (only playlist processing) * in about 10 minutes in Classic-menu mode and 18 menu pages are generated * in about 14 minutes in Thumbnail-menu mode and 36 menu pages are generated * in about 38 minutes in XMB-menu mode and 252 menu pages are generated (without chapter-thumbnails) Space: 252 titles require about 130MB disc space for menu pages. A tiny-bit change in interface for Author tab:
Playback sequence group now orders events more logically according to playback timeline. Dean Last edited by deank; 9th May 2009 at 20:29. |

I have noticed the speed increase with menu generation. It was about 3 times faster on my system.
It would be really good if it was possible to save projects and retain things like menu text from the editor. Last edited by nwg; 10th May 2009 at 02:47. |

Few updates (you'll get them with multiUPDATE):
* Added MPL playlist import (for mts join mode) * Fixed Panasonic compatible output if importing MPL/MPLS (chapters were present sometimes). Be advised that MPL works only in tsMuxeR 1.10.3 but MPLS import is broken in 1.10.3. MPLS import works in 1.9.9. I've seen some posts in some forums about problems with multiAVCHD - never change the version of tsMuxeR provided in multiAVCHD's tools folder! Dean |

I know this comment relates a bit to the popBD issue i raised - but does the MPL/MPLS panasonic fix mean that the issue i raised with forcing a spanned disk in multiAVCHD by seperating the m2ts generated across 2 disks could now be resolved? Or is this something different.
Great to see so many fine features added to multiAVCHD. |

No, it is not related to your problem.
Did you update your *complete* multiAVCHD package with the latest popBD? If not (or not for a long time) I suggest you to download it now and try with your spanned discs. I did few tests and all seems to be fine with popBD (if you not alter its output in any way). Dean |

Build 571:
Output buttons replaced with "Start" and new pop-up window added: Author tab is changed again. multiAVCHD.exe is getting smaller again. These changes make things more intuitive with one final decision about output type. You will have to remove/edit the language file (if you're using one). Hi dean,
I tried to import playlist mpl file from my camera and I got the following error: [16:47:14] Log started for multiAVCHD v2.6 (build 571) [16:47:14] Current output mode will include [16:47:14] maximum of 252 titles. [16:47:14] Processing 1 input file/folder. [16:47:14] Temp folder does not exist. Set to c:\_TEMP. [16:47:14] Strict AVCHD folder mode is enabled... [16:47:14] Converting PLAYLIST to BDMV (C:\TTTT\test\AVCHD\BDMV\PLAYLIST\00000.MPL). [16:47:14] Error obtaining information! (tsMuxeR / 00000.MPL)... [16:47:14] No valid information found! Why tsMuxeR doesnt like playlist from my camera? Peter |

Take a look just few posts up: #2589.
You'll need to have multiAVCHD "unpacked" in the root folder of a drive, for example D:\multiAVCHD and not use any special characters in folder names. "Error obtaining info" means that multiAVCHD cannot launch tsMuxeR. If all is okay you'll see 3 lines in BLUE in the LOG screen when you launch multiAVCHD: Code:
[18:05:27] This multiAVCHD build uses: [18:05:27] SmartLabs tsMuxeR. Version 1.10.3 http://www.smlabs.net [18:05:27] multiAVCHD.dat version: [02060570] Last edited by deank; 10th May 2009 at 16:05. |

Just don't use non-ASCII symbols for your multiAVCHD folder path and not too many subfolders.
In MPL/mpls mode multiAVCHD calls tsmuxer via "cmd.exe" and it doesn't work with deep paths. I have 1 instance of multiavchd in D:\multiAVCHD\multiAVCHD.exe and one on my desktop and the second one won't work with MPL files. Just put the FOLDER "multiAVCHD" in the root folder, not the files. *** tsMuxeR is updated to 10.4 and now both MPL and mpls playlist import works. Thanks to Roman. I suggest all to download the COMPLETE setup. Last edited by deank; 10th May 2009 at 17:12. |

This problem is now fixed in build 572.
Also Lumix AVCHD lite input is now recognized + few changes in start pop-up window. MPL and mpls playlist import now work fine (if you have the full download or updated tsMuxeR to 1.10.4). Dean Last edited by deank; 10th May 2009 at 19:08. |

Thanx
Now it works well, there is no need to put multiAVCHD in root. But there is another problem... The audio of movie goes faster than video ca. 1.5 second and this delay increases with the time of movie... Is there some solution for that? |

Such async means audio/video FPS difference (or a problem @ the "glue" points"). I think tsdemux handles audio delays properly, but still - is there a chance to upload a structure and send me an email with a link?
I tried mpls import with over 20 mts files and there was no audio/video sync problems (I used tsmuxer's split mts in 1 mpls, canon camcoder input and HDC panasonic camcoder input). ** When you process MPL/mpls don't use Panasonic output - just regular AVCHD for PS3 or for DVD. What output mode did you use and what player for testing? Last edited by deank; 10th May 2009 at 21:43. |
