A friend sent me this link some minutes ago:

That's ... interesting
Unfortunately, the binary link does not work anymore I don't have Delphi here right now so I can't compile the source code. Anyone got a mirror?

Ludo is being to harsh on that version... it is just an early test we did a while ago to show off the power of our 'CORE', the language modules and the new XML based skins. We have been working on it for about 7 months now on and off... and as Blacksun Toff and DCoder can attest too it's gonna be pretty amazing to see what people can do with it. For example when we sent it out to a few ppl to test... one person made close to 10 Languages in like 2 hours without even trying he said.
Please note: Obvoiusly many things have changed, the licensing being one of them... i'll go into details on that next week here along with the CoreCodec Developers. Also while we _are_ gonna Open Source TCMP5... it will have some licensing restrictions that will become apparent when I post on it... and no it will not be GPL. For IP considerations and unlike 'other' media players we want to and will be 100% legal. We will not distribute and or compile unlicensed codecs with TCMP's distro. I'll go more into this next week and possibly provide you all with a new Alpha to test. Last edited by BetaBoy; 15th May 2004 at 23:30. |

The sourcecode looks interesting. Especially, its playback part

But for TCMP5 we're going to have something from scratch. |
