can you post the link of the software that we need to install please.

thanks
You can resolved problem by modifiying the ripbot.ini file with notepad.exe;

Change ;
CheckRequiredSoftware=1
to
CheckRequiredSoftware=0

And software will work.

Sometimes the COPY STREAM option for Audio is unavailable to me. I'll select the video element, and BLU-RAY DISC for output, then my .ac3 track which is usually the disc original e.g. 640Mbps 6 channel, but despite that I've selected Blu-ray as the output option RipBot won't give me COPY STREAM as an option--I'll get instead 2ch Aften in a few bitrates e.g. 192 and 256 etc.

I have this problem too - No audio file is seen in the audio box - but you can browse to it and then Xcopy will appear.
Also many saved preferences ( saved in RipBot264.ini ) do not show - such as profile, desired bitrate and output path. This is using XP pro SP3. Seems like this version has many incomptiblities with Xp - will stick with 1.12.0 until fixed).

Thanks for v1.13.0, Atak. I made a few changes in the .ini to suit my needs better, but I've been wondering if there's a way I can add a few other output file sizes to the file size list, simply for convenience purposes?

After shutting off the ver Check to get passed the Haali Media Splitter issue... got a font install for Vista and Windows 7 with a reboot. I'm running Win XP

Now after choosing the file to encode, I get this error. LINK

edit.
Ignore the bit about subs. I didn't notice the new sup extension in add subtitles.
I get the same error, Dark Knight Blu ray, i made a sample using tsmuxer, using ac3 audio, Vista 32bit, q6600, it also told me haali was not installed, to fix, downloaded haali from

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...a_Splitter.htm

then it told me it had it installed, even though the details on version was exactly the same.

I changed the ini file and that seemed to work for me.

I've wondered though if the issue is as simple as "different versions of Windows in different countries & time zones result in a different creation date for Haali". Maybe if you alter the date with Attribute Changer or something then RipBot will stop complaining...

Here's an example where the .ac3 is unchanged from the BD (640Kbps, 6-channel, not E-AC3) but RipBot264 doesn't show COPY STREAM as an option (though at least in this case it does give 640 as an option).

EDIT: I've now tried 1.12.0 and 1.11.5 and even re-installed old Haali and still no good. Wonder if RipBot264 depends on anything else in my setup that might be amiss. Using XP Pro x64 here (and am now going to try my old P4 machine).

I tried using v1.13.0 last night and am having some problems. I bypassed the check (i have the latest of the 3 required) and tried encoding The Bourne Supremacy (BD). I loaded up the .ts (contained only the video) and the .dts track, cropped the black bars and set the output as an mkv. When I hit start, couple seconds passed and 'All Jobs Finished' came up. Not exactly sure why this happened since I encoded the same movie with v1.12.0 and it worked just fine.

Now if I'm not mistaken, with v1.13.0 the CUT function is always on? If that's the case, it doesn't reflect it in the menu for v1.13.0. If the video was slightly longer than the audio in v1.12.0 and you switched between CUT and OFF, you could clearly see the difference. With v1.13.0, it doesn't show that anymore.

Is there any way to select AC3 output in an mp4 file for Apple TV as I would much rather use Ripbot than Handbrake as it's much less fussy about input files?

This screenshot helped alot. I know what went wrong. I didn't predict that user would use capital letters in extension (.AC3).

@survivant001
Report this small revision problem to that guy.

Auto means the biggest HDD or partition. Which partition is the biggest on your pc? Screenshot ?

Bluray chapters seem to be broken in 1.13.0.

If I advance chapter on standalone, it hangs, then returns to the beginning of the disc.

It worked fine in 1.12.0.
