how to backup hd dvd rip (.evo file) to mkv or other format

I have ripped some of my hd dvd to my hard drive. but due to the size of the file on my drive I want to re-author the rip to some other smaller format like mkv or others.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

cheers

Hi!

For "movie-only", load them into tsMuxeR ("Join"consecutively, if necessary), select "Blu-ray disk" from the bottom of the window - and click on "Start muxing".

You can then compress using you favorite "compress Blu-ray" tool...
