Video speeds up

Hi!
I reloaded my machine (do it every year) and for the first time I get a few times when watching a vid , it speeds up for a sec then normal again.
Have reloaded vid card drivers and codec pack several times, have tried dif players but no change.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

try to uninstall codec pack firstly, since it polutes your PC with greate deal of filters that can cause such a behaveour.
