Best choice for subtitles: srt, ttxt or tx3g

Hi everybody.

I'm author of videostreaming server http://erlyvideo.org/ and currently I'm implementing reading subtitles.

It is a pity, but seems that srt subtitles aren't suited for embedding into mp4 container.

What is the difference between tx3g and ttxt for practical usage? What should be implemented first?

MP4Box can mux SRT into MP4 quite well (it transforms it automatically to TTXT during the import process). That's what I'm doing for my home usage and so far I'm quite satisfied ;-)
