There is weird problem with subtitle font size setting. When I set "16", apply and than go back to settings there is in fact set "15". And it happens whit almost all sizes...
18 -> 17 16 -> 15 15 -> 14 but 14 -> 14 and again 13 -> 12 12 -> 11 11 -> 11 Sorry for poor explanation, I hope you understand me. |

Were there any changes in the H264 decoder (FFmpeg version) between 3819 and 3824?
I encoded Cars 2 with Handbrake svn 4342 and it plays perfectly fine on 3819 but either can't play or can't seek on 3824. In either case, if it fails, it locks up MPC-HC. This is on XP SP3 x86. Code:

Yep, already got a build done
Just need to do some testing etc before doing a new final, may have done by end of day. I my builds already have the BE mod icon, but I am also thinking of trying to edit the buttons to do some anti-aliasing on them.

i would be extremely greatful if someone can sort this for me
i need to find a way to output AAC to my new amp over HDMI previously i just used AC3Filter which i believe transcoded to ac3 and output over spdif. This does not work in HDMI. I tried Reclock which worked but is causing problems of its own problem is if i set 5.1 channel in the HDMI playback option this works for all multichannel formats but i watch a lot ov tV through MCE and all stereo formats just then output through L&R speakers and i cant use Prologic Thanks |

Everyone,
We can solve this ffmpeg issue much faster if we agree to do 2 things. 1. Stop statically linking ffmpeg, this alone might already solve the problems we're having 2. Use LAV decoders instead of MPC decoders, once we accept to keep ffmpeg externally its easy to use LAV. This will remove our reliance from porting over the ffdshow ffmpeg all the time. And LAV's ffmpeg.dll is as vanilla as possible (and has its own fork repository) Aleksoid: Do you think you can port over our DXVA code to LAVvideo? DXVA will be needed to be feature complete compared to the current mpcvideodec.

Font sizes are a confusing thing under Windows, it supports different scales, as far as I remember, trying to be independent of the resolution (dpi) the display or printer has. |
