Will Main10 profile and X265 10 bit be possible soon, so 4k and properly 4k hdr encoding will be possible ?

Released VidCoder 2.60:

Fixed issue where a manually entered destination could get clobbered if switching to another window while focus is still on destination box.
Fixed issue where we did not add audio frame overhead in audio size calculation when "Same as Source" sample rate was picked, which caused incorrect video size calculation.
Fixed crash when switching to a picker with a renamed encoding preset.
Fixed potential crash when closing the app and stopping an encode.
Updated translations.

Next up: Starting the Beta releases for v3

Updated to latest HB nightly.
Fixed issues with handling new video encoders on Video tab.
Updated to target 4.6.2, and updated installer.
Removed 32-bit (again). We are no longer getting 32-bit hb.dll builds from HandBrake.

In handbrake there is a Main and Main10 profile, I only see a Main profile in Vidcover 3.0 Beta?

Released VidCoder 3.1 Beta:

Moved container options to their own tab.
Added A/V sync option to Container tab.
Fixed issue where the wrong encoder could be saved when switching to MP4 while an unsupported encoder like VP8 is selected.

Can you add Beta to the caption and taskbar on the program. So its Vidcoder BETA. I have both 2.6 and 3.1 installed and they look the same if I dont look in About.

Released VidCoder 3.2 Beta:

Changed QSV decoding option to be available for all encoders.
Added file size column to the completed encodes list.
Removed OpenCL scaling algorithm choice. It is no longer implemented in HandBrake.
Allow setting "None" for the fallback on auto passthrough, which causes the track to be dropped.
Changed so that if multiple queue items are selected clicking the remove button on any of them will remove all of them.
Removed subtitle scan tracks for previews, as it is not worth scanning the whole title for a few second clip.
Preview now show deinterlaced when deinterlacing is enabled in encoding settings.
Added prefix "Encoding Preset" to the encoding settings window to make consistent with the Picker window.
Added a tooltip to explain Sizing Mode.
Changed to say VidCoder Beta on the title bar for Beta releases.
Fixed some names in the Picker window to be more accurate.
Fixed possible scan issue where the feature title is not available in the list of titles.
Fixed some localizable string interpolation bugs.

Like... deleted? Or does it just not allow you to run it?

I took the liberty to check and it's just the basic "I don't know this app yet" pop-up.

He can just click "More information" and then he can allow the program to be run.

-- Edit: oh wait, there might be another issue. I forgot I run a separate antivirus (ESET) and Windows' built-in AV is therefore not active anymore.

Sorry for being for unspecific. The file gets deleted automatically. I tried downloading it from here and here

No sorry, it isn't. It's saying (translated) "Program contains a virus and got deleted". Of course I know how to bypass this by using another browser or disabling this functionality. I just wanted to report it.

Thanks for the report. People tell me it runs afoul of virus software every once in a while but the only way I can think of to help that is by shelling out $$$ for a code signing certificate.

Weird getting a "file not found" error.

Source is a 4K MKV H.265 encoded which I'm trying to make into a 4K MKV H.264.

Currently trying the same encode with VidCoder 2.62 instead of beta 3.3. Will let you know if that errors out too or not.
