nope leave the original files as they are or u will damage dvd structure and therefore playback. try to familiarise yourself with pgcedit, i think PGCEdit it can sort it all in one step. just select the IFO of the VOB file u created (Utilities - Import Menu is the PGCEdit feature you will need to use as far as i know)

yes PGCEdit will accept it then. demux your mpeg with TMPGenc mpeg tools or any demux tool that will accept .mpg which should get your separate stream(s). then author with IFOEdit or rejig's dvd author mode loading in the correct files (video = .m2v or .mpv, audio = .ac3 or .mpa/.mp2) and output to a directory, this will give u your vob ifo and bup files, then load VTS_01_0.IFO into PGCEdit

just open the VIDEO_TS.IFO of the original DVD you want to add the clip to then go to the menu... Utilities - Import Menu... and load your new IFO of the clip. not sure how easy it is to change when it plays as i've never used the feature, only read a bit about it

To import a title with PgcEdit, you have to select the title before or after which you want to play the new title, and use one of the macros "Import Title Intro Clip" or "Import Title Closing Clip". The rest is automatic!
The "Import VTST Title" will import the clip, but you will need to create some new VMGM PGCs and edit them to let the title play when you want it to be played. |
