Dear Doom9,
that was my point from the beginning and thanks for mentioning it. I think it is inappropriate and this is what I tried to say. Actually, goldirin never tried to contact anyone or offer his help in the translation project. We wouldn't disagree for him joining us... Actually, there are some translations done (e.g. virtualdub_procedures). Goldirin, sorry, I couldn't read you c.v. I am waiting for you to join our mailing list, so as to join our forces. Is your server in Greece? I think the other one is faster. The good thing about nitro is that you can get ftp access, too, so as to upload your stuff. Best wishes to everyone. |

If nobody minds, I'll close this thread.
Further discussion can take place in the original Greek thread. that's here: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.ph...199#post240199 As a note on the competition arising between you: I can only tell you to join forces. It's not an easy job to get enough support for one single project - let alone two competing ones! In order to restrict the damage already done, you should tell your volunteers to wait just a bit until you sorted things out - or you will end up with documents translated twice! And THAT is very frustrating for the concerned translator(s). So be reasonable and put up a single site. As a sidenote, Doom9.info is a bit misleading - I'd rather suggest registering the toplevel-domain of your country instead of a general one like .info. But that's just IMO. --Scipio
