Thanks guys. That all desired settings (but for faster change them I want possibility to type digits from keyboard in fields directly and may be cusomize one click presets - there is many space in properties and color & gsmma tabs for that). Of course, sometimes 0-255 is better, sometimes 16-235 - depends on played video. Quote:

Question about HDR: do all see trees "in fire" between green trees from 11 to 21 second in Samsung_HDR_Wonderland.ts http://demo-uhd3d.com/fiche.php?cat=uhd&id=153 especially if compare with EVR? I've never seen so saturated colors in nature so I think the truth between madVR and EVR - am I wrong? Last edited by VictorLS; 10th November 2016 at 22:37. |

If a file is wrongly detected as full range when it should be using TV range, or if it's detected as TV range but it actually needs to be expanded twice, just use the hotkey Ctrl+Shift+Alt+I to adjust the source levels used by madVR.

Thanks once more (it's a pity this forum havn't Thanks button). And what about my question about HDR file? sauma144 What did you mean? May be you are Formula1 fan as I am? I cross my fingers about Lewis Hamilton but not all in his hands due to broken engines across this season. |

with the HDR problem please make a screen with the OSD(control+j).
this file has Bt 2020 colors and no display is able to display them and it is a HDR demo i wouldn't be shocked if the this file was created with wrong colors in mind but i haven't watch it. edit: and madshi doesn't answer questions right now not until "THE" weekend. which is when it's done Last edited by huhn; 11th November 2016 at 07:25. |

the image is very vivid in general your screen is just washed out.
have a look here at black clipping. http://www.avsforum.com/forum/139-di...libration.html 1-16 are NOT suppose to blink. |

My monitor not support 23,976 (in EDID there is nothing other then 60Hz at all, but 50, 48 and 47,952Hz are supported natively through VGA and DVI although with message "Out of range"), so I set 47,952=23,976*2 - for progressive scan it is the same, but for interlaced vertical frequency of monitor must be equal frequency of fields - else will be double or stuttering artifacts.

Sorry guys, NG1 is still not ready for release this weekend. I'm hopeful I'll have a first (probably not completely finished) version out by next weekend.
To hold you over, here's another little teaser. First some words about performance: There will be several quality/speed levels. NG1 "low" quality will probably have a similar speed to Jinc AR*) or super-xbr*). Or at least that's what I'm aiming at. I still need to test how much I can downscale the algorithm before quality breaks down completely. NG1 "high" quality (which both teasers are made with) will probably have a similar speed to NNEDI3-64*). Here's a photo comparison. Please note that in the NG1 image only the luma channel was upscaled with NG1. The chroma channel was upscaled with Bicubic60. Waifu2x doesn't make that compromise, which explains the difference in chroma quality: original -- | -- Jinc AR -- | -- super-xbr 100 -- | -- NNEDI3 256 taps + SuperRes 4 -- | -- NG1 (wip) -- | -- waifu2x Some of you guys didn't like the name "NG1". I'm open for other suggestions. Please feel free to post your ideas. If there's no suggestion that jumps out at me, I'll probably stick with "NG1", though. I'm listening to your comments, but I'll reply to all old and new posts only after the new version is released. *) without SuperRes |

Hi
Using madVR v0.90.24 on MPC-BE. As i can see here https://linustechtips.com/main/topic...ck-on-windows/ i can use LAV filters instead of the internal ones. You suggest me to do this? Thanks
